  • PAWS Check-in Data: Your symptom ratings, notes, and check-in dates
  • User Preferences: Settings like whether you've seen certain tips or welcome screens
  • No Cloud Sync: This data is never synced to iCloud or any other cloud service

This data remains on your device and is deleted if you uninstall the app.

Third-Party Services

WithdrawWave does NOT use any third-party services, analytics, or advertising frameworks. The app is completely self-contained.

Audio and Visual Therapy

  • Audio is generated locally on your device using iOS's native audio framework (AVFoundation)
  • Visual effects are rendered locally using SwiftUI
  • No external servers are contacted for therapy delivery
  • No internet connection is required for the app to function

Data Security

Since all data remains on your device:

  • Your data is protected by your device's security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
  • We cannot access your data
  • No data is transmitted over the internet

Children's Privacy

WithdrawWave is intended for users aged 17 and older due to the nature of substance withdrawal content. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 17.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the app and on our support website.
